Dear Collages / Scholars,

We are pleased to announce the “JIASD 2023 Best Paper Award” for original and review articles published in JIASD during 1^st January 2022 to December 2022. One original research article and one review articles will receive an award each. The articles will be selected after through evaluation procedure by the journal Award Committee led by the Editor-in-Chief and the winners will be announced on 31^st December 2023.

Eligibility for the Award:

• Papers published in JIASD during 1^st January and 31^st December
• Open to all career levels
• Both regular and Special Issue submissions will be considered

Selection Criteria:

Original / Research Article:

• Importance of research findings to farmers’ wellbeing, rural development, food security, food safety, agriculture industry and agribusiness
• Novelty
• Design of the study
• Reliability and validity of measurements
• Reporting quality
• Number of citations in 2022 and 2023

Review Article:

• Relevance of review to farmers’ wellbeing, rural development, food security, food safety, agriculture industry and agribusiness
• Novelty
• Presence vs. absence of meta-analysis
• Using individual participant data vs. aggregated data meta-analysis
• Reporting quality
• Number of citations in 2022 and 2023

Prizes and advantage:

Each winner will receive the followings:

• 100 USD
• A chance to publish a paper free of APC in JIASD before June 2024
• A certificate

The winners will be announced at the journal website on 31^st December 2023
